Petitioners seem to be aggrieved with the inadequacy of compensation which has been awarded to them on account of acquisition of their land for construction/widening of NH 200. 2.

Let the petitioners move an application under Section 3G(5) of the National Highway Act, 1956 within a period of one month from today. Thereafter, if the Arbitrator has already been appointed for the said project, the application shall be considered by the said Arbitrator in accordance with law, within next three months. If no Arbitrator has been appointed, the concerned authority shall appoint the Arbitrator within one month.
