This contempt petition was registered pursuant to the resolution of the Standing Committee of the High Court of
CONTR No.1 of 2019 Chhattisgarh held on 29-8-2019 to consider the information sent by the District & Sessions Judge, Raigarh, forwarding the communication made by Ms Jashvinder Kaur Ajmani, Judicial Magistrate First Class, Kharsiya about the face book posts uploaded by the present contemnors undermining the authority of the Court.

Cognizance was taken on 30-9-2019 and notices were issued to the contemnors. They appeared before us on 23-10-2019 and 20-11-2019. Today also both the contemnors are present.. They would tender unconditional apology and undertake not to publish any objectionable writing about the Judicial Officer in the face book or in any other social media in future, which may amount to lowering the dignity of the Court. 3.
Considering the entire facts situation of the case, it appears the apology is bona fide and sincere, therefore, the same is accepted and presence of the contemnors is discharged, subject to the condition that they shall not indulge in the recurrence of the like acts.
