1. The challenge in the present writ petition is to the order Annexure P/1 dated 04.10.2018, whereby the services of the petitioner has been transferred from Bilaigarh, Baloda Bazar to Basna.

2. The challenge is on the ground that the place where the petitioner is being posted is already occupied by one Yogram Lahre, who is discharging the duties of Block Education Officer as is evident from Annexure P/2.

3. Perusal of the record would reveal that the said Yogram Lahre does not have the DDO power and as is evident from the same document dated 06.10.2018.

4. Given the said facts, it appears that the said Yogram Lahre is not having the complete powers of the Block Education Officer at the said place.

5. Let the respondent No.1 take an appropriate decision in this case at the earliest preferably within a fortnight's time ensuring the fact that the order of transfer of the petitioner at the transferred place is duly complied with. Till an appropriate decision is taken by the respondent No.1, there shall be a status quo of the position as it stands today.

6. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner also to appraise the respondent No.1 so far as the order passed by this Court is concerned.

7. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
