Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the son of the petitioner died because of electrocution as he came into contact with a high tension electric wire which owned and maintained by the respondents. He submits that as per the policy of the Respondents, in case of death of electrocution,Rs.20,000/- would be paid within 48 hours by way of interim relief and thereafter Rs.3,80,000/- lakhs would be paid after completion of necessary formalities. Learned counsel submits that the son of the petitioner died on 24.06.2020,however, the petitioner has not been paid single penny. Therefore, under the circumstances a representation was made to the concerned respondents on 08.10.2021

& on 31.03.2021 vide Annexure P-2 which bears the receipt of endorsement, but the same is not being decided till date. 2.

Under the circumstances, It is directed that the petitioner may submit a fresh application to respondent no.3 along-with copy of this order within 2 weeks and on such an application being filed, respondent no.3 shall take decision within further period of 45 days from the date of receipt of such application to grant compensation to the petitioner who is father of the deceased, according to the policy dated 10.09.2018. 3.

With the above observations/direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
