1. The challenge in the present writ petition is to the order Annexure P/1 whereby the services of the petitioner on the post of Lecturer at Govt. Higher Secondary School Kishunpal has been transferred to the office of Block Education Officer Antagarh, District North Bastar, Kanker.

2. The primary challenge to the order of transfer is on the ground that the petitioner has been assigned the election duties and he has been appointed as Assistant Nodal Sweep as is reflected from Annexure P/4 dated 25.09.2018 enclosed along with the petition.

3. Given the aforesaid facts, considering the instructions issued by the Election Commission of India as also by the State Government, so far as the officers who have been assigned the election duties are

concerned, the petitioner herein since has been assigned election duties would not be relieved from the present place of posting till the election duties are complete.

4. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
