2019-10-14Hon'Ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy1 pages

HIGH COURT OF CHHATTISGARH, BILASPUR Order Sheet MCC No.915 of 2019 State of Chhattisgarh & Ors. Vs. Benedict Tigga & Ors. 14.10.2019 Shri Chandresh Shrivastava, Dy. Advocate General for the petitioners/State.

The present MCC has been filed seeking extension of time for compliance of the directives given by this court on 15.01.2019 in WPS No.998 of 2009.

The counsel for the petitioners submits that the claim of the petitioner is under active consideration before the authorities concerned and because of the administrative reasons the same could not be completed within the stipulated period. Given the said submissions that the counsel for the petitioners/State has made, and also considering the contentions made in the MCC, this court is of the opinion that a strong case is made out for allowing the MCC and granting further time for compliance of the directives given in WPS No.998 of 2009. Accordingly, the MCC stands allowed. The petitioners are granted further three months time starting from today for compliance of the directives given by this court on 15.01.2019 in WPS No.998 of 2009.
