1. The grievance of the petitioner is that his name appeared in the waiting list for appointment on the post of Lecturer (Panchayat) and that there are vacancies available in as much as the persons in whose favour the appointment orders were issued have not joined their duties.

2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already made representation (Annexure P-4) in this regard to respondent no.2 which is still pending consideration.

3. Given the limited claim and grievance of the petitioner, let respondent no.2 take a decision on the representation of the petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order considering the fact that the validity of the waiting list is getting expired in a short span of time. While deciding the representation, the authority concerned would take into consideration the Chhattisgarh Teacher (Panchayat) Cadre (recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2012. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
