The grievance of the petitioner in the instant Writ Petition is the nonconsideration of the claim of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment.

The husband of the petitioner working as a Shiksha Karmi Gr-II had - died in harness on 27/04/2013.

The petitioner immediately moved an application for compassionate appointment.

Till date, though more than 5 years have passed, no decision has been taken by the concerned authorities.

Given the said nature of dispute, this Court is of the opinion that, ends of justice would meet if a direction is given to the respondent No.3 to decide the claim of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment and an appropriate decision be taken at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 6.

Needless to mention that, the authorities concerned would also take into consideration that in case if the petitioner does not have the requisite qualification for appointment as a Shiksha Karmi then her claim may be considered against any class-IV post lying vacant under the respondent No.3.
