1. The present order is restricted for modification of order dated 1204-2017 in WPS No.1714 of 2017. For two other writ petitions mentioned in the cause title of this MCC, the applicants would be required to prefer separate MCCs. The office objection to this effect is fully justified. It is made clear that if the applicants do not file separate MCC in two other writ petitions, the respondents would be at liberty to initiate contempt proceedings against the applicants for not deciding the appeal within the stipulated time.

2. By the present MCC, the applicants seek extension of time for deciding the appeal by the petitioners of WPS No. 1714 of 2017 for which the applicants were allowed three months time.

3. On due consideration, 10 weeks' further time is allowed for deciding the departmental appeal preferred by the petitioner of WPS No. 1714 of 2017

4. The MCC stands disposed of.
