3. Lal Sahab Tripathi, S/o late Shri Sidhanarayan Tripathi, aged about 61 years, R/o In front of Gurudwara, Gandhinagar, Ward No.22, Jagdalpur, District Bastar (CG).

(2) The instant Contempt Petition has been filed by the petitioners against the respondents for disobedience of the Court's order dated 24.03.2014 passed in W.P.(S) No.1504/2014. (3) Para No.3 of the order dated 24.03.2014, which is relevant and is quoted herein below:- "Petitioners would be at liberty to move

representation before the Madhya Pradesh Road Transport Corporation before whom the claim of the previous set of petitioner namely G.K. Gupta and others is under process. On submission of representation by the petitioners within a period of one month, the same shall be verified and if their cases are similar to the previous set of petitioners, their claim shall also be processed alongwith the claims of the petitioners of previous writ petitions in the matter of G.K. Gupta (supra)."

(4) Section 20 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 states as under:- "20. Limitation for actions for contempt- No court shall initiate any proceedings of contempt, either on its own motion or otherwise, after the expiry of a period of one year from the date on which the contempt is alleged to have been committed." (5) Looking to the above mentioned facts and circumstances of the case, the contempt petition is barred by limitation provided under Section 20 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971. Consequently, the instant contempt petition as framed and filed by the petitioners is rejected.
