Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even though an interim order dated 19/08/2016 was not continued when the case was again listed on 02/11/2016, unless the interim order was specifically vacated by the Court, the respondents could not have proceeded with the selection process. Considering the submission that when the case was listed on 02/11/2016, there was no mention of continuing the interim order passed on 19/08/2016 which was granted only till the next date of hearing, I am not inclined to issue notice to the respondents in this petition. However, it would be open for the petitioner to take recourse to remedy in the pending writ petition. The petition is accordingly disposed off.
