Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order on Board 29.10.2018 1.
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents for granting of age relaxation to the petitioner and similarly placed persons for appointment to the post of Angan Badi Workers. 2.
Perusal of records would show that the petitioner as of now is aged about 49 and as such has crossed all permissible maximum limits for recruitment. It is settled position of law that relaxation can be granted within the permissible limits and not beyond the upper permissible limits. 3.
In the instant case the petitioner has already crossed the maximum upper limit prescribed for any recruitment for public employment. Thus, this court is of the opinion that no case is made out for grant of relief which has been sought for the petitioner.
4.
The writ petition accordingly being devoid of merit deserves to be and is hereby dismissed.
