1. The dispute raised by the petitioner through the present writ petition is the non-settlement of his retiral dues.

2. According to the petitioner, after the retirement the petitioner has not been paid his leave encashment and certain portion of his GPF amount has also not been paid, which the respondents have showed as missing credit. He further submits that the petitioner is also entitled for the arrears the revision of pay that took place on 01.01.1996 till 31.12.1997.

-23. The petitioner retired from service as an Assistant Engineer w.e.f. 28.02.2011. Considering the grievance of the petitioner and also the age of the petitioner, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the writ petition itself is disposed off with a direction to the petitioner to approach the respondent No.2 by way of a detailed representation supported with all relevant documents and records available with him and the respondent No.2 in turn shall get the representation of the petitioner as also the service record duly scrutinized, so far as the dues that are payable to the petitioner on his retirement.

4. The respondent No.2 shall also if required give a personal hearing to the petitioner for redressal of his grievance and in case on scrutiny certain payments are found still left to be paid to the petitioner, the same should be released at the earliest preferably within a period of 4 months.

5. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to appraise the respondent No.2 so far as the order passed by this Court is concerned.

6. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
