The grievance of the petitioner in the instant Writ Petition is for nonconsideration of his claim for medical reimbursement in respect of treatment rendered to the wife of the petitioner.

The contention of the counsel for the petitioner is that, the wife of the petitioner was suffering from serious ailments and she was hospitalized at Raipur for treatment and in due course, she expired on 20/08/2017. He further submits that, so far as expenditure which was incurred in the course of the treatment of petitioner's wife, he had made necessary application

before the competent authority for making medical reimbursement, but till date the same has not been honoured by the department. 3.

There also appears to be a recommendation made in this regard by the respondent No.3.

Given the nature of dispute, this Court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the Writ Petition pending, rather ends of justice would meet if the Writ Petition is disposed off with a direction to the respondents No.2 & 3 to take necessary steps at the earliest ensuring the claim of the petitioner for medical reimbursement is processed in accordance with the rules and necessary payment if the petitioner is entitled for is released preferably within 3 months from today. 5.
