1. Grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that respondents have till date not processed his application for compensation on the death of daughter of the petitioner on account of snake bite.

2. According to the petitioner there is a scheme of the State Government which provides for grant of compensation in case if the death occurred by wild animal etc. He further submits that his application till date has also not been rejected. However, perusal of the record would show that the postmortem report does not give a clear indication that death have occurred because of the wild animal attack or snake bite.

3. For giving the opinion skin examination report is needed. The skin examination report is not available with the petitioner. Given the said facts, this Court is of the opinion, let petitioner try to obtain skin examination report and thereafter if he has sufficient material available to show that death occurred because of snake bite. He may approach the concerned authority, who in turn shall consider and process his claim in accordance with the said report and also in terms of the scheme governing the field.
