This contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of order dated 03-04-2018 passed by this Court in WPS No.1732 of 2018, on the submission that despite issuance of direction to the respondent to examine the petitioner's claim, till date, no orders have been passed. 3.

This Court finds that direction was issued to the respondent, even though, no time limit was fixed, the respondent is obliged to decide the petitioner's claim within a reasonable time.

Let a decision be taken in this matter within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If no decision is taken by the respondent authority within the stipulated period, the petitioner would be at liberty to revive the contempt petition.
