1. The present contempt petition was filed alleging non compliance of the order dated 11.05.2018 passed by this court in WPS No.3617 of 2018.

2. The respondents have now entered appearance and have submitted a document along with their return intimating the court that after disposal of the writ petition the Collector had got the matter inquired from the concerned Superintendent of Police and in the enquiry it was found that there was no threat perception of the life of the petitioner and therefore the request made by the petitioner through his representation was rejected.

3. In view of the fact that since the application of the petitioner has since been rejected by the respondents, the compliance of the order seems to have been done by the respondents and as such no contempt further survives and the contempt petition therefore is disposed of. In the event if the petitioner is still aggrieved of the subsequent decision taken by the Collector, District Rajnandgaon, he would be at liberty to challenge the same by way of an appropriate fresh proceedings.
