1. By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the decision taken by respondent No.3 whereby the application filed by the petitioner for grant of parole has been rejected approving the recommendation of respondent No.4.
2. Mr.Matin Siddiqui, learned Deputy Advocate General for the respondents/State, would submit that he has filed affidavit of the District Magistrate, Janjgir-Champa that the case of the petitioner will be considered
afresh within two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
3. Considering the submission of learned Deputy Advocate General, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate to consider the case of the petitioner afresh to grant him the privilege of release / parole within two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order in light of decision rendered by this Court in Rakesh Shende v. State of Chhattisgarh and others, decided on 18.11.2016. NO cost(s).
