2. Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat Raigarh, District- Raigarh, Chhattisgarh.

3. Chief Executive Officer, Janpad Panchayat Pussore, District- Raigrah, Chhattisgarh.

4. Block Education Officer, Pussore, District- Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. ---- Respondents For Petitioner :

Mr. Ghanshyam Kashyap, Advocate For State :

Mr. Soumya Rai, Panel Lawyer Hon'ble Shri Justice Goutam Bhaduri Order On Board 16.10.2019 Heard 1.

The limited grievance that the petitioner has raised in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondents to consider releasing of the arrears of the revised pay scale from 01.05.2013 to August, 2016.

2.

The contention of the counsel for the petitioner is that as per the order dated 16.09.2016, the Department has decided to grant the benefit of revised pay scale. He submits that as per the department order dated 16.09.2016, the petitioner became eligible for revised pay scale w.e.f. 01.05.2013 onwards till August, 2016. However, the actual monetary benefit has been given to

the petitioner only from August, 2016 onwards and therefore, the petitioner was entitled for the arrears of revised pay scale from 01.05.2013 to August, 2016.

3.

Given the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the respondents 2 to 4 take necessary steps ensuring that the arrears of revised pay scale between 01.05.2013 to August, 2016 payable to the petitioner is made at the earliest preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed off. Sd/- Goutam Bhaduri Judge ashok
