1. The compensation assessed by the Land Acquisition Officer upon acquisition of petitioner's land has not been paid on account of pendency of second appeal bearing SA No.392 of 2015 without mentioning in the return as to whether any interim order has been passed by this Court restraining disbursement of compensation to the petitioner.

2. By Annexure - P/1 it is established that the land acquisition award in petitioner's favour has already been passed, therefore, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that in the event there is no interim order by this Court restraining disbursement of compensation, the petitioner be paid the amount of compensation within a period of two months from today.
