Ms. Hamida Siddiqui, Advocate Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order on Board 13/11/2018

1. The present is a matter where the order under challenge is an order of suspension.

2. Perusal of the order of suspension shows that the petitioner has been placed under suspension on account of the fact that he was arrested in a criminal case. The order of suspension was one which was issued on 18.06.2018.

-23. The present writ petition has been filed after more than 4 months from the date of suspension having being issued. It appears that the petitioner has not availed the remedy of appeal also before preferring the present writ petition. Moreover, the criminal case still is pending against the petitioner.

4. Given the aforesaid facts, this Court is of the opinion that no strong case has been made out for interfering with the order of suspension. The writ petition accordingly stands dismissed.

5. Dismissal of the present writ petition would not preclude the petitioner from availing the remedy of appeal or for availing any other remedy available under the rules.
