The petitioner alleged that the petitioner who is working in Writ Section as Assistant Grade-I has been transferred to Civil Section in place of Smt. Vandana Mishra. It is contended that the petitioner infact has raised certain grievance and instead of redressal of the grievance, the petitioner has been transferred to Civil Section.

Though the petitioner claimed that transfer has been made, it is an internal office management, which is under challenge. In order to control, the administrative exigency, which may arise from time to time, one employee can be placed to other section in the High Court irrespective of the fact they were working in that particular section. Working at a particular section does

not confer any right to occupy a particular table or chair of the office, it is the prerogative of the employer and administrative exigency if so required one employee can be placed from one place to another according to the discretion and necessity of the job. Consequently, I do not find any merit in this case to entertain this petition. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed. Sd/- (Goutam Bhaduri) Judge ashok
