1. The applicant has preferred this bail application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.10/2017 registered at Police Station Mainpur, District Gariyaband for offences under Sections 20-B of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

2. The applicant was allegedly possessing 4.5 kg of contraband Ganja which he was carrying in a bag while travelling from Devbhog to Durg.

3. The concerned SHO has not reported any previous criminal antecedents of the applicant.

4. Considering the fact that the applicant is in jail since 31.1.2017; investigation is complete and the charge sheet has already been filed,

this Court is inclined to release the applicant on bail.

5. Accordingly, the application is allowed and the applicant is directed to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. He is directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
