The grievance of the petitioner in this petition seems to be that, the petitioner's land was acquired by the State authorities and the compensation assessed has been wrongly received by the private respondents No.5 to 9 after manipulating the records in connivance with the concerned Patwari.

The pleadings of the writ petition further reveals that the petitioner had made a complaint in this regard to the respondent No.2-District Collector, who, in turn, has forwarded the complaint to the respondent No.3-Sub Divisional Officer, Gharghoda, who has registered the case and

-2proceeding of which is undergoing. The grievance of the petitioner is that, though the proceedings were initiated as early as in August, 2018, but no substantial development has taken place in the said proceedings and the matter is getting delayed and lingered on without any substantial reasons. The petitioner is a senior citizen and therefore she may get an early justice in the proceeding is what is wanted by the petitioner. 3.

Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, and the matter already being seized by the respondent No.3-Sub Divisional Officer, Gharghoda, District Raigarh, this court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents No.2&3 to ensure that the proceedings pending before the Sub Divisional Officer, Gharghoda is proceeded expeditiously and a final decision be taken at the earliest preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. They are further directed to ensure that no unnecessary adjournments are granted considering the age of the petitioner who is more than 70 years old.

It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise the respondents No.2&3 so far as order passed by this court is concerned. 5.
