1. Shri B. Gopa Kumar, learned A.S.G. appearing along with Shri A.V. Pawar, Inspector CBI, Chhattisgarh would refer to the
MCRC No. 7429 of 2017 affidavit filed on 04.09.2019, demonstrating the chronology of investigation carried out by the CBI pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 23.05.2017 in MCRC No. 3075 of 2017.
2. Having perused the affidavit, it appears that the investigation is continuing for last about 1 1⁄2 years, however, for the absence of one of the suspect Ashish Shukla, the supplementary chargesheet could not be filed by CBI.
3. Let CBI file supplementary charge-sheet on the basis of the investigation so far carried out pursuant to the order of this Court. The CBI shall continue to investigate the role played by Ashish Shukla and shall file supplementary charge-sheet against him, if he is found to be involved in the offence.
4. The bail granted to the present applicant is made absolute in the same terms, as has been mentioned in the order dated 2305-2017 passed in M.Cr.C.No.3075 of 2017.
