Despite there being an order passed by the respondent No.5 on 25.10.2017, the amount of compensation has not been paid to
the petitioner.

Petitioner has already moved representation for release of the amount, but no order has yet been passed for releasing the amount in his favour.

Let the concerned Land Acquisition Officer make payment of the amount awarded by the Arbitrator within a period of one month from today. The petitioner's entitlement to interest on the awarded amount is left open to be determined as and when the petitioner makes such prayer and prefers fresh writ petition for which liberty is reserved in his favour.

The writ petition is disposed of.
