Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner worked as Headmaster and retired from service in the year 2017 and his GPF amount was shown as 3,93,119/- as per Annexure P-1 as per the Accountant General, Chhattisgarh, whereas the pass-book would show that after deduction the amount comes to Rs.4,52,995/- as per Annexure P-3. Therefore, under the circumstances, the petitioner is entitled for the said amount. It is contended that in order to overcome such anomaly, the petitioner may be allowed to make a representation to the Respondent No.3 to apprise those facts.

On perusal of the documents, it shows that the pass-book shows an amount of Rs.4,52,995/- whereas Annexure P-1 shows an amount of Rs.3,93,119/-. Therefore, under the circumstances, it is

directed that the petitioner, if files such representation before the Respondent No.3 within a period of 30 days, the same would be decided objectively by evaluating all the facts by the Respondent No.3 within a further period of 45 days and the petitioner if entitled, the same may be granted.
