1. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner was appointed to the substantial post of Peon in the year 1990 and he was regularized in the year 2008 vide order dated 01.09.2008 (Annexure P-2), therefore, he is entitled for the promotion to the post of Assistant Inspector (Moharir).

2. It is contended despite the fact that he was appointed to the substantial post and is working continuously on the regular post without any break for the last more than 10 years, the case of the petitioner is not being considered to the next higher post of Assistant Revenue Inspector, which is lying vacant for a long

period. It is submitted that the petitioner has made representations to the CMO, Mahasamund on 10.04.2013 and 02.05.2019 but they remained undecided.

3. After perusal of the documents, it is directed that the petitioner shall be at liberty to file a fresh detailed representation to the Chief Municipal Officer within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of the order and on such a representation being filed, the same shall be considered and decided positively within a further period of 3 months.
