Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner would submit that on the land owned by the petitioner, respondent No. 2 has constructed public road and drain for which the petitioner is entitled for compensation but till date no compensation has been paid to the petitioner. 2.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to make a representation before the respondent authorities within two weeks from today claiming compensation in lieu of his land which will be considered and decided by the respondent No. 2 expeditiously within a period of six weeks from the date of representation.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
