2. Even if, we are inclined to condone the delay in filing the application, we do not find any merit in the application because the respondent has been granted acquittal due to reasonable doubt created on the story of the prosecution particularly in view of the evidence of the prosecutrix who in her cross-examination has stated that her hands was not tied and that no sexual intercourse was committed by the accused. The application is therefore, rejected as without merit. Accordingly the CRMP is dismissed.
