1. The challenge in the present writ petition is to the order Annexure P-1 dated 09.10.2018 whereby respondent no.4 has abruptly discontinued the contractual services of the petitioner.

2. Perusal of the record would reveal that the only reason for discontinuing the services of the petitioner was certain WhatsApp

message which the petitioner had circulated during the Assembly Election that was held in November, 2018.

3. This Court, on going through the record, finds that the order is an appealable order and the appeal lies to the Collector i.e. respondent no.2.

4. In view of the fact that there is a remedy of appeal available to the petitioner, let the petitioner make a suitable appeal before respondent no.2 within a period of 2 weeks from today. On such appeal being received by respondent no.2, it is expected that he shall decide the same on its own merit ignoring the aspect of limitation at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of the appeal.
