Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is entitled for maternity leave for a period of 180 days whereas the respondent No.3- The Chief Medical and Health Officer, Jagdalpur has granted only 90 days of maternity leave, therefore, she may be granted liberty to make a representation before the respondent No.3The Chief Medical and Health Officer, Jagdalpur, in view of the decision rendered by this Court in the case of Devshree Bandhe v. Chhattisgarh State Power Holding Company Limited and others (WPS No.101/2017).

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.
Be that as it may, petitioner is at liberty to make representation
before the concerned authority along with copy of the order passed in Devshree Bandhe (supra) within a period of three weeks from today. If such a representation is preferred by the petitioner then, the concerned authority shall consider and decide the petitioner's representation for grant of further 90 days of maternity leave in light of the decision rendered by this Court in Devshree Bandhe (supra) expeditiously preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of representation. 4.
