2. It appears the petitioner's application for determination of her caste status is pending consideration before the High Power Caste Scrutiny Committee.

3. On an earlier occasion, this Court had directed the High Power Caste Scrutiny Committee to make enquiry and pass appropriate orders in WPC No.7608/2011, however, despite the said order, the Committee has not yet decided the matter.

4. Considering the entire facts situation of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2 to decide the matter concerning the petitioner's caste status, at the earliest, preferably within a period of 6 months from the date of submission of certified copy of this order.
