Sam Koshy Order On Board 19/11/2018 The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that he has only got the service of 6 months left for retirement and that at present he is posted at District Jashpur which is a place far away from his place where he intends to settle after his retirement. 2.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that as per the policy of the State Govt., in the last phase of service career, an employee is supposed to be posted at a place of his choice so that he can make all necessary
arrangement for his post retirement life. He submits that the petitioner has already made a representation to the State Govt. for considering him to be transferred at a place nearby district Bilaspur which is pending consideration.

Given the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, particularly realising the limited scope of interference that this Court under Section 226 of Constitution of India has in such subject matter, the writ petitioner is being disposed of directing respondents 1 & 2 to take a decision on the representation of the petitioner seeking for a transfer at a place nearby Bilaspur.
