Sam Koshy Order On Board 14.11.2018 The only grievance which the petitioner has raised in the present writ petition is the non releasing of the retiral dues payable to the petitioner who has retired from service on the post of Assistant Engineer w.e.f. 30.06.2018.

Counsel for the petitioner referred to Annexure P-3 which is a letter issued from the Department to the Office of the Accountant General for processing the case of the petitioner and releasing the amount at the earliest.

Given the aforesaid fact, this Court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the petition pending rather ends of justice would meet if respondents 2 & 4 are directed to scrutinize the case of the petitioner and ensure that the retiral dues payable to the petitioner is released at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise respondents 2 & 4 so far as the order passed by this Court is concerned.
