1. The present contempt petition has been filed alleging non compliance of the order dated 16.04.2019 passed in WPS No.2867/2019 .

2. Perusal of the records would show that the along with the contempt petition itself there is Annexure C-3 which is an order passed by the Executive Engineer dated 06.06.2019. The respondents referring to the order passed by this Court had passed an order rejecting the claim of the petitioner. Since the directions given by this Court was only to process and consider the case of the petitioner by passing an appropriate order and respondents having also passed the order, this Court is of the opinion that respondents in fact have complied with the directions given by this Court.

3. If, at all, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the subsequent order the only remedy available for the petitioner is to file a fresh writ petition challenging the subsequent order. The veracity of the subsequent order cannot be tested under the contempt jurisdiction by this Court.

4. Reserving the right of the petitioner to challenge the subsequent order passed by the respondents, this contempt petition as of now stands closed.
