1. Grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner's husband Shivshankar Pal has retired in the year 1987 and he was getting pension and after bifurcation of the State, his pension was being drawn from the State of Chhattisgrh. It is stated that on 07.05.2018, the husband of the petitioner has died. However, the petitioner was informed that since the documents did not bear the name of the petitioner as wife/nominee, the pension is not being released. It is stated that the petitioner was informed orally about such non-payment of pension. Eventually an application was made to the Superintendent of Police, Korea by the petitioner to get the Pension. However, the same has not been decided. It is

contended that the petitioner is ready and willing to file relevant documents which would demonstrate the fact that she is wife of the deceased late Shiv Shankar Pal, therefore, she would be entitled to pension.

Considering the fact that request has been made by the petitioner that she is widow of the deceased Shiv Shankar Pal who died on 07.05.2018 and she is not able to get pension, the petitioner is directed to make an application within a period of 3 weeks with all relevant documents which may establish the fact that she is widow of late Shiv Shankar Pal and on such an application being filed, the concerned authority shall consider and decide the entitlement of th petitioner objectively within a further period of 45 days.
