We have heard learned counsel for the State and gone through the impugned judgment of acquittal and other material on record including evidence of Prosecutrix (PW/2)
and her father Nirmal Kispotta (PW/3). We are inclined to grant leave to appeal.
Accordingly, the leave application is allowed. Let the appeal filed by the State be registered under the heading 'Acquittal Appeal' and the same be listed for final hearing.
