The claim of the petitioner in the instant Writ Petition is for grant of compassionate appointment on the death of his father who died in harness on 21/08/2018.

The petitioner had immediately moved an application for compassionate appointment, but till date, no decision has been taken in this regard. 3.
In the given facts, this Court does not intend to keep the Writ Petition pending, rather ends of justice would meet if the Writ Petition is dispose off
with a direction to the respondents No. 3 & 4 to take a decision on the claim of the petitioner at the earliest in accordance with the scheme for compassionate appointment applicable on the date of death of the deceased employee.

Let this exercise be done at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order. 5.
