1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present Writ Petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondent authorities for issuing the necessary information sought under the Right to Information Act, 2005.

2. This Court at the outset is of the view that the writ petition may not be maintainable for the simple reason that the petitioner has an alternative efficacious remedy by preferring an appeal under provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005 to the appellate authority.
