1. Having heard learned counsel for the parties, it appears the National Highway from Raipur to Bilaspur i.e., Tatibandh to Simga, Simga to Sargaon and Sargaon to Bilaspur have already been completed and all safety measures like putting of RCC Crash Barriers, Road Lane Marking, W-Beam Crash Barriers, Sign Boards, Informatory Signs, Warning Signs, Mandatory Sings, Pavement Marking, Kerb Marking, and Barriers have already been installed. In addition, street lights have also been installed.
2. Mr. Akshay Shail, learned counsel appearing for the Officers of Punj Llod, and L & T submits that after completion of the work the Company has applied for issuance of completion certificate.
3. In view of the above, we do not deem it appropriate to keep the contempt petition pending. This Court appreciate the efforts and the zeal undertaken by the petitioner and his counsel Mr. B.P. Singh, to espouse the cause of common man by preferring the PIL and thereafter this contempt petition.
