1. The limited relief as sought for in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondent No. 5 before whom the claim application of the petitioner for grant of Nazul land on lease over which the petitioner is in possession for more than 15 years.

2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that in fact proceedings was drawn under the rules. However, no final order has since been passed, though the matter is still pending before the respondent No. 5 since long.

3. Considering the limited relief sought for and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case so far as entitlement of the petitioner is concerned, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet, if the respondent No. 5 is directed to decide the application for grant of lease to the petitioner over Nazul land in

possession of the petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days.
