1. The only grievance of the petitioner through the present writ petition that has been raised is that the petitioner while working on the post of Forest Guard was posted as a Forester on 27.04.2018.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that before issuance of the order of promotion the petitioner was working as a Forest Guard at Gariyaband Forest division and subsequent to the promotion order having being issued, he has been given the promotion and place of posting at Dhamtari Forest division, but till date the petitioner has not been relieved from Gariyaband and therefore the petitioner has not been able to give joining on the promoted post and is also being

-2denied of the benefits that he would have got, if he would have joined the promoted post.

3. Given the nature of dispute raised by the petitioner and also taking note of the fact that now that the election work also has been over in the State of Chhattisgarh, let the respondent No.3 take immediate steps ensuring that the petitioner is relieved for assuming his duties of the promoted post of Forester at the Dhamtari Forest division at the earliest preferably within a period of 30 days from today.

4. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.

5. It is made clear that the relieving order would be issued only in the event, if the earlier order of promotion and posting has not been recalled, modified or amended in any manner.
