1. The challenge in the present writ petition is to the advertisement dated 04.07.2018. Grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner was engaged as a Guest Faculty in English under the respondent No.3 in the previous academic session 2017-18.

2. Though the advertisement was issued on 04.07.2018, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition as late as on 13.11.2018 i.e. after more than 4 months time from the date of advertisement.

3. During the course of hearing, it has been revealed by the counsel for the petitioner that the advertisement has since been acted upon and appointment orders have also been issued in favour of the selected candidates.

Given the said facts, particularly the fact that a substantive indefeasible right has been created in favour of the persons selected, in whose favour the appointment orders have been issued and the selected candidates have also joined their duties, this Court is of the opinion that nothing further remains to be adjudicated upon in the present set of facts and the writ petition thus being devoid of merit deserves to be and is accordingly dismissed.
