By this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has claimed seniority on the ground that she was appointed in the year 1987, however, she was absorbed in the year 2013, therefore, the seniority should have been granted from 1987 as per the case law laid down in Devdarshan Dilliwar & others vs. High Court of Chhattisgarh & others 2011 LawSuit(Chh) 668.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a representation has already been made, therefore, for the time being the concerned respondents may be directed to decide the same.
Considering the limited prayer made by the petitioner, it is directed that the petitioner, if so advised, may file a fresh
representation before the concerned respondents within a period of 3 weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and if such a representation is filed, the the respondents shall decide the same in accordance with law within a further period of 60 days.
With the above observation/direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
