1. Pending the writ petition the petitioner has brought on record two correspondences, one dated 25.10.2019 issued by the Director (Panchayat) to the Collector, Mungeli asking the Collector to take appropriate steps in accordance with the Rules governing the delimitation part based on the complaints received from the villagers of village Sarangpur, Manpur and Lalpur. Subsequent to the letter of the Director (Panchayat), the District Collector also vide his correspondence dated 07.11.2019 has directed the Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat, Mungeli i.e. the respondent No.3 to take

appropriate steps in accordance with the Rules, so far as delimitation is concerned.

2. Given the said correspondences, the counsel for the petitioner submits that the let the writ petition itself be disposed of directing the respondents No. 2 & 3 to take appropriate steps in the light of the correspondences made by the Director (Panchayat) as also by the Collector, Mungeli dated 25.10.2019 and 07.11.2019 respectively.

3. To this limited request made by the petitioner, the respondents do not oppose.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the respondents No. 2 & 3 to take appropriate steps in accordance with the Rules governing the provisions of delimitation and also keeping in view the directions given by the Director (Panchayat) dated 25.10.2019.

5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. The respondents are expected to take a decision at the earliest preferably within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
