1. The limited grievance, which the petitioner has sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondent No.3 to decide the representation (Annex. P/4), which the petitioner has filed before the respondent No.3.

2. The dispute pertains to the non-consideration of the petitioner for the post of Transport Sub Inspector inspite of the fact that the petitioner was considered by the committee so constituted for promotion and the posts were also available, yet the case of the petitioner was not considered.

3. Without expressing anything on the merits, so far as the entitlement or eligibility of the petitioner let the respondents No. 2 & 3 take a

-2decision on the representation of the petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.

4. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
