1. The limited prayer which the petitioner has sought in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondents for deciding his representation Annexure P-1 dated 22.10.2018.

2. According to the counsel for the petitioner, the land which was acquired by the respondents, the petitioner was entitled for employment under the rehabilitation scheme. Though the

respondents have granted a contractual employment to the petitioner but the same is not a permanent employment. The services of the petitioner can be discontinued on completion of the contract period. He submits that subsequently the respondents have issued advertisement for filling up the post of Data Entry Operator and the petitioner may be considered for the said post since he fulfills all the eligibility criteria for the said post. The petitioner has also made a representation Annexure P-1 in this regard to the respondent no.4.

3. Given the said nature of dispute which the petitioner has raised, let respondent no.4 decide the representation of the petitioner considering the claim of the petitioner for appointment in lieu of land acquired. While considering the case of the petitioner, the authorities would keep in mind the fact that the present employment which the petitioner has been provided is only a contractual employment for a fixed tenure. Let this exercise be completed within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
