Jhagru Pradhan v. Anandram
HIGH COURT OF CHHATTISGARH, BILASPUR Order Sheet WP (C) No.4295 of 2019 Jhagru Pradhan Vs. Anandram & Ors.
29.11.2019 None for the petitioner.
Shri P. Acharya, Panel Lawyer for the State.
The matter came up for hearing day before yesterday. There was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Today also when the matter is called on, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.
Perusal of record would show that the order under challenge is one which has been passed on 04.02.2009 by the Commissioner, Surguja Division, Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh.
At the outset, this court finds that the petition is highly belated without any justification for the inordinate unexplained delay. The reasons assigned by the petitioner in paragraph 7 also is not satisfactory enough for entertaining the writ petition after more than a decade.
The writ petition accordingly stands dismissed on the ground of delay laches.
