1. The limited grievance which the petitioner has raised in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondent to correct the surname of the petitioner which has been wrongly spelt in the certificate-cum-Marksheet Annexure P-2.

2. Shri Pankaj Agrawal, advocate, appearing for the respondent submits that normally the correction of the name of a candidate is entertained if the same is raised within the prescribed period from the date of issuance of the certificate and since it is within time, the claim of the petitioner can be considered provided the petitioner makes a detailed representation in this regard before the respondent.

3. Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the petitioner is directed to make a detailed representation to the respondent within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and the respondent in turn shall decide the same within a further period of 60 days from the date of receipt of representation of the petitioner.
